Preventive Care

It is important to stay current on your dental checkups and x-rays.  When a patient is seen at least twice a year and x-rays once a year, this allows Dr Monson to catch any potential problems before they become bigger and more expensive treatment.  The hygienist will clean the areas where it may have been more difficult to clean as well as polish the teeth to get unwanted stains off.  Fluoride can be applied to the teeth in order to make the teeth more resistant to the bacteria that cause decay.  When all of this is done, your mouth will thank you!
